File Instructions:: Sins of a Solar Empire - Future Wars - Tactical Simulator

Hereby the F.L.A.M. - Modding Team introduces its latest mod project: "Sins of a Solar Empire - Future Wars: Tactical Simulator" is a total conversion for the popular game "Sins of a Solar Empire". This mod is so to speak the "little brother" of the mod "Star Trek Armada II - Future Wars" which couldn't be released yet, because of some unfinished work.
As mentioned above this mod is a total conversion. That means all existing races are being removed from the game and replaced by new ones from the Star Trek universe.

At first we had our doubts wether this project could even be realized, since Frankie and me (Drako) were nearly working alone on the Future Wars project for Armada II. But we've got new support by S3ler. At this point: welcome to the team S3ler!

We aren't sure about the size of mod project ourselves yet, so just wait and see!

The plans are:

TOTAL CONVERSION
- 5 new races
-> Federation
-> Klingons
-> Romulans
-> Dominion(Dominion, Cardassians, Breen)
-> Maquis(renegade Starfleet members, Bajorans, Ferengi)
- new star bases
- new ships
- super weapons(possibly)
- new skin
- and some nice little expansions and surprises we're going to reveal bit by bit

Staff:

Frankie - Model converter, scripting, possibly the girl for everything
Drako - everything connected to graphics, scripting, 2nd girl for everything, taking care of the stuff girl no. 1 abandoned
Raab - creation of particle effects
S3ler - scripter, tech tree

Hiermit stellt das F.L.A.M. - Modding Team sein neustes Modprojekt vor. "Sins of a Solar Empire - Future Wars -Tactical Simulator" ist eine Total Conversion für das populäre Spiel "Sins of a Solar Empire". So zu sagen der "kleine Bruder" vom Mod "Star Trek Armada II - Future Wars", der leider noch nicht veröffentlicht werden konnte, da noch zuarbeit fehlt.
Wie schon gesagt, ist der Mod eine Total Conversion - dies bedeutet alle bisherigen Rassen werden entfernt und durch neue Rassen aus dem Star Trek Universum ersetzt.

Am Anfang hatten wir erst Bedenken ob dieses Projekt überhaupt realisierbar ist, da Frankie und ich (Drako) schon am FW Projekt für Armada II beinahe allein da standen. Aber wir haben unverhofft neue Verstärkung durch S3ler bekommen. An dieser Stelle, Willkommen im Team S3ler.

In welchen Rahmen sich das Modprojekt bewegen wird wissen wir selber noch nicht, lasst euch überraschen!

Geplant ist:

TOTAL CONVERSION
- 5 Komplett neue Rassen
-> Föderation
-> Klingonen
-> Romulaner
-> Dominion (Dominion, Cardassianer, Breen)
-> Maquis (Abtrünnige Sternenflottenmitglieder, Bajoraner, Ferengi)
- komplett neue Stationen
- komplett neue Schiffe
- eventuell Superwaffen
- neuer Skin
- und noch nette kleien Erweiterungen und Überraschungen die wir nach und nach verraten

Mitarbeiter:

Frankie - Modell Convertierer, Scripting, eventuell Mädchen für alles
Drako - Alles was mit Grafik zu tun hat, Scripting, zweites Mädchen für alles was Mädchen Nr. 1 liegen gelassen hat
Raab - Partikeleffekte herstellen
S3ler - Scripter, Technologieabaum

Information about the mod downloads:

The first alpha and also the following ones (if we decide to release more than one) will be only available in german. The reason for this is that it would just slow the progress down if we had to edit two string files at the same time.The final version of this mod will be available in english, though (if our translators don't try to escape again).

I hope you can understand our reasons for this.
