UK Chart: FIFA 13 retains crown, Skylanders Giants debut in second
FIFA 13 has strolled to yet another number one in the UK chart. Skylanders Giants have arrived second, with Dishonored dropping down to third in its second week. Doom 3: BFG Edition entered the chart fifth, and 007 Legends landed at 12th.

Insomniac Games developer John Fiorito stated in an interview with IGN that he bears no ill will towards developer Toys for Bob finding unprecedented multimedia success with the Spyro license that Insomniac never quite found with Skylander: Spyro's Adventure.

Darksiders II led software sales in the UK for August 2012, with NCAA Football 13, the collegiate American football EA Sports title, making a surprising #4 appearance. Sleeping Dogs, which topped the weekly charts for two straight weeks, debuted at #6.
Diablo III hits 10M sales in record time, World of Warcraft suffers

Activision has announed in its quarterly investor call that Diablo III has become the fastest selling PC game of all-time with 10M units sold. The game had sold 6.3M in its first week, with 3.5M in the first day.
Skylanders Giants gets October release date

Activision has announced the release dates for the sequel to its popular collectible figurine kids game, Skylanders Giants. The game will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the UK on the 19th October, and arriving two days later in North America on the 21st.
