Battlefield 3 holds out against Uncharted 3 in UK chart
EA's Battlefield 3 has kept its number one spot despite Naughty Dog's highly anticipated Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception releasing last week, although it is only a PS3 title to be fair.
FIFA 12 maintained its line 3rd, while Batman: Arkham City fell back 4th. SEGA's Sonic Generations debuted 10th, GoldenEye: Reloaded 16th and Disney Universe 25th.

Takashi Iizuka is now producer for the Sonic series, and his history goes way back to 1994's 16-bit Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Its direction was "largely left" to individual teams before.
Now the series has more 'directional stability', says Iizuka-san, whereas before it "tended to fluctuate" game to game. He's made an effort to "really better define" the blue hedgehog.

Declining revenue and profits are reported by SEGA Sammy Holdings Inc., who revealed a year-on-year fall of 29.9 percent and 83.7 percent respectively.
The business was left reeling after the Great East Japan Earthquake which "devastated" their supply chains, with electrical blackouts plaguing the business long after.

Sega has sent out a short but sweet press note that Sonic Generations has become the most pre-ordered game in the series history, which debuted in 1991.

Sonic Generations will be coming out on console on the 1st November, and it will be including the original Sonic the Hedgehog title with it, albeit as an unlockable reward.
