Sonic Generations (possible) system requirements revealed
Preorders for the PC version of Sonic Generations have begun on such digital distributors as BTGames, Steam, Direct2Drive, and GreenManGaming. Interestingly enough, GMG has posted system requirements for the game, while the others haven't.

Sonic Generations is a tribute to classic Sonic the Hedgehog games of the past, and Joystiq was curious about whether legacy characters - Tails, Knuckles, and so on - would be in the game.

SEGA has released their Sonic Generations on Xbox Live and PSN as a demo, which will toast the 20th anniversary of the blue hedgehog when it retails.
Sonic Generations is a hybrid of the series' classic 2D and more recent 3D adventures. It has classic levels rebuilt in HD. The full game is due late 2011.

Sonic Generations, which teams the original Sonic with the "new" Sonic, has already been announced for Xbox 360, PlayStation 360 and the Nintendo 3DS. In a nice surprise for PC gamers, it will also be coming to the Windows platform, which is a rare sight for a Sonic the Hedgehog game.
