| Ubisoft acquired Obsidian Entertainment's South Park: The Stick of Truth from the THQ collapse, paying $3.2m for the privilege. It has been notably absent from the publisher's scheduled release line-ups. However Ubisoft has confirmed that South Park: The Stick of Truth will be launching this year, although they have no concrete date to offer. Originally it had been due to release later this month. |

| After 24 years, starting as a shell company called "Trinity Acquisition Corporation", til LJN turned it into THQ (Toy Head Quarters) to house recent acquisition Broderbund, THQ is no more, having finally been dissolved and its assets auctioned off. |
