Splinter Cell Blacklist now available for Pre-purchase on Steam

Although Splinter Cell Blacklist isn't actually launching for the PC until 20th August, you can now pre-purchase via Steam and grant yourself access to some day-one downloadable content and more.

Both the Standard Edition (priced at £29.99) and the Deluxe Edition (priced at £34.99) are available on the Splinter Cell Blacklist Steam hub page.

To help prove they didn't break their pinkie swear with fans, Ubisoft has released a new trailer showing off the very different play styles you can adopt as Sam Fisher in the upcoming Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

The community bemoaned the general shift of Splinter Cell away from its traditional stealth roots, but now the choice is given to us to go loud, or stay quiet. Ghost, Panther or Assault?

We're just over a month out from Ubisoft's Splinter Cell: Blacklist launching and so a new story trailer has been posted detailing the US government's secret black ops program Echelon, and some guy Fisher.

This new trailer asks us to "become what they fear most" - which is a guy in a sneak suit with green goggles, who really has a thing for hanging upside-down off pipework. Team America!

What visual slickness can we look forward to on PC with the likes of The Witcher 3, Batman: Arkham Origins, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Watch Dogs? Nvidia has revealed some juicy details via a presentation.

All support DirectX 11 and tessellation, with some also backing TXAA and GPU PhysX sorcery. Nvidia spotlighted The Witcher 3 by showcasing a furry wolf galloping along.

E3 2013: Ubisoft's conference - streamed live @ 10.40pm BST/11.40pm CET

Tick tock. High seas piracy and ceiling pipe espionage will be exposed tonight with Ubisoft's E3 2013 Media Briefing, which starts at 2.40pm PDT in the US, and 10.40pm BST/11.40pm CET in Europe. We're streaming!

All those data bits will be funnelled right here for your viewing pleasure. It starts at a totally bonkers 40 minutes past the hour, dismissing the 30 minute mark as too rational and cliche.
