S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, review by Boscotheclown
Very good game. Reminds me a lot of Fallout 3 because of the open world game play. Much better than clear sky, and the atmosphere is reminiscent to Shadow of Chernobyl. To sum it all up it incorporates the best of both of the games, and ads new features that work very well and improve the game play. As well as taking things from other franchises (Ex. Fallout 3) and making them work in the Chernobyl setting. This time around though mutants such as dogs, which were not that big of a threat are now more dangerous if you are not outfitted correctly or let them overwhelm you. As well as adding new mutants to the game that that can make things interesting, especially when traveling at night. Same with anomaly field they are much more dangerous but the rewards can sometimes be that much greater. Lots of secrets to be found and if you were a fan of the first two games you wont be disappointed with this installment.
