I've been trying to get this uploaded for a day now ... the first time I summited it, I got rejected because the rar wouldn't open .... so I re-summited the exact same rar thinking that the first time I did it I was downloading a huge file ... and that it wasn't the rar itself but corruption due to interference and slowed broadband....

anyways ... I guess you really didn't need to know that... but the first version of this wasn't a cheat pistol.

this one is---- I was able to take aim at 200 meters and hit my target using full auto ... killing him with 3 rounds ... so yeah this is a cheat gun but it's in beta because it crashes my game sometimes during loading like if it's in the slot and drawn during my save .... odd

plus I tried my hand at re-skinning it.... it turned out pretty nice IMO for a first timer.

so use this at your own risk .. I will not take responsibility for corrupted saves or random crashes ...and most importantly, broken equipment due to meltdown.... you know who you are... I've been there too... yelling at the screen and banging my keyboard from frustration... you have been advised.

installation:

first edit your fsgame.ltx file to this

$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata

... if you haven't already

!!!!IMPORTANT!!!! REMEMBER THIS IS BETA AND MAY CRASH YOUR GAME

!!!so always back up originals before doing anything!!!

then just copy/paste my gamedata over your gamedata [it's one weapon file and one texture file so just overwrite yours and it won't effect any of the others in the folder

for manual installation

path as follows for pistol ---- main game folder> gamedata> config> weapons ... backup then overwrite with mine [w_ups.ltx]

path as follows for texture ---- main game folder> gamedata> textures> wpn ... backup then overwrite with mine [wpn_usp.dds]

My brother says I should always add a permission to use disclosure with my files ... so from this point on, if you use my mods ...... have fun!

[I don't give a crap if you change it up a bit since I was not the originator of the code ... the peeps @ GSC were .. I just treated it as open source & modded it for personal preference ... it's not like I did a complete overhaul of the code so the game is a total conversion ...]

But I will ask for credit if you decide to include one of my mods in one that you make or if you redistribute mine on another site.
