Instructions:
Choose the number of players that you want the map selected out of. Press the select button for the random map selection. A directory under the starcraft/maps dir is created called Randommapsel, where the selected map can be copied for easy picking withing the starcraft game.
The information about which map was selected can be passed to any application, or chat window, so other players can see which map the Random map selector has picked, this is very usefull for tourneys or internet games, you only have to tell the random map selector the name of the window where the information will be passed, you can set this parameter in the settings menu.
The default broodwar window name is "Brood War", The program has this option preconfigured.
RMS 3 has a map search utility build in :).
it will ask if you want this map copied to the random map selector dir as well
In the settings window you can see which program you want the RMS 3 to launch, the default starcraft directory, you can also pick which kind of map files you want the RMS to choose out from, and the name of the window the RMS 3 will pass the information of the map selected, by default the broodwar window is pre configured.
