StarDrive exits beta today, Iceberg "overwhelmed" by pre-orders for 4X RTS

Indie developer Zero Sum Games today takes 4X real-time strategy StarDrive out of beta as it officially launches on Steam. The space empire builder has been lauded for its ship design and space combat.

Iceberg Interactive has been "overwhelmed by the volume" of pre-orders for StarDrive, which has been an "incredible journey" for Zero Sum. It's a "living product" with updates guaranteed.

Iceberg Interactive has announced that the grand strategy game StarDrive will be getting a 26th April 2013 launch on Steam. Gamers may preorder the title from now through to launch at a 17% discount ($24.99), and will get access to the beta immediately. The game will be 10% off during its first week of release.

Iceberg Interactive and developer Zero Sum Games have announced that their 4x space strategy game StarDrive is now available for you to test on Steam as a beta. Throughout the Beta stage, StarDrive will be available with a 15% discount on any pre-orders.
