Namco post 'Making The Game' video for Star Trek, teases action and co-op

Executive producer Brian Miller for the upcoming Star Trek video game featuring Kirk and Spock narrates this latest footage, revealing more about the co-op action of its "two unforgettable heroes".

It's a third-person shooter and action-adventure, says Miller. We'll get to strut around the Enterprise as Kirk and perform Spock's grotesquely overpowered Vulcan nerve pinch.

The Darkness 2 developer Digital Extremes is boldly working on the final frontier, and the fruits of their interstellar labour will arrive nearer April's end this year, announce Namco Bandai.

The publisher has also just released a new trailer entitled 'Salvation'. It's promised to be an "unprecedented co-op experience" with a full original story starring Kirk and Spock.

Namco Bandai and Paramount Pictures have announced that the videogame adaptation of the current cinematic version of Star Trek starring Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto as Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock will be released on the 23rd April 2013. The game is being developed by Digital Extremes.

Namco Bandai has announced that the roles of Captain James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock in their upcoming 2013 licensed game Star Trek will be voiced by their film actor counterparts Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto.
