Dread Master is right. BioWare's latest Operation for Star Wars: The Old Republic lets fans finally conclude the Dread Master saga, but it seems the Dark side has a trick up its sleeve - invulnerability.

During the final battle the Dread Masters will recuperate on their thrones, and be given the 'Unreachable' buff to prevent damage. It seems they don't want to give that perk up.

The latest instalment of 'The Old Republic Insider' for September 2013 has producers Cory Butler and Andrew Horwitz discussing the upcoming Game Update 2.4: The Dread War.

They provide a teasing glimpse into the new 4v4 PvP warzone arenas, as well as story-driven missions for the "epic finale" of the Dread Masters' storyline. The update is out October.

A flashdrive from a recent Cantina Tour event for Star Wars: The Old Republic contains some very interesting in-game screens of the MMO. Among them are player characters riding Tauntaun mounts.

There are also several shots of what appear to be new PvP arenas in the works. Tauntaun have been a long sought after mount for The Old Republic, and are currently only available as pets.

The next major game update for Star Wars: The Old Republic is due August 6th which adds two new level 55 Flashpoints, and focuses on the galaxies corporations. You also get Treek, a new companion Ewok.

The team is already busy with Update 2.4 which adds a new planet with a "short story arc" dealing with the Dread Masters. This involves two new Operations, a new Warzone and new Elder gear.

As Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic turns a decade old, BioWare key figures remember those very early days of securing the Star Wars license to make their dream RPG that would go on to critical acclaim.

Lukas Kristjanson, now senior writer for Dragon Age: Inquisition, remembers "one moment very clearly," where BioWare had gathered in a local theatre; his fellow devs descended into 'giddy kids'.
