Gingerbread Studios announce Aztecs & terrorists in The Protector

Not your run-of-the-mill connection but Gingerbread are bringing gamers a mix of shooting, suspense, stealth and South American terrorism.

Players take the role of two alternating characters as they try to stop 'Scarlet Vengeance' from obtaining a powerful Aztec amulet - coming to Xbox360 and PC.

You know that peculiar place that surfs all day and enjoys non-stop barbeques? That's right, Australia, well they're getting their own servers for Warhammer Online.

This is to help keep pings low as they would no doubt have to use U.S. servers, so Oceanic gamers can have the same "quality of game play" as the rest.

Vivendi Games, which is set to merge with Activision, has stated the expansion is "scheduled to be released in the second half of 2008".

Despite this kind of statement talk, Blizzard refuse to speculate when the date for release is and are unlikely to wedge themselves in.

Yes it's that time when the self professed elite can pick over an 'innocent' survey and proclaim their prophecies, or just get a quick dig at the enemy fanboi.

It does show some interesting things about the average PC that Steam have picked up on, some expected findings - others not so much.

Funcom have announced the Xbox360 version of their MMORPG is roughly a year behind the PC, and they aren't ruling out the possibility of a PS3 version.

The interesting part is Funcom's ambition to let PC and Xbox360 gamers optionally play Age of Conan together with friends "if they like to".
