Kasedo Games reveals 7th November date for Crowntakers

Kasedo Games announced this afternoon that it's going to release its turn-based strategy RPG, Crowntakers, on 7th November digitally via its own platform and Steam on PC, Mac and SteamOS. There will also be a retail version for you box lovers, which will release on 28th November in the UK and Europe.

Indie developer Four Lights announced today that it's releasing Defenders of Time, a fast-paced tower defence game, on Steam on 4th November for PC and Mac.

The title is currently available for pre-order on Steam at $20. Access to thesingle-player mode is free.

There's been much speculation on time periods, but rumours also speak of another IP universe as the setting? Some photos have leaked from EGX showing off some scale armour.

Paradox Development Studios is crafting their latest mini-expansion for Europa Universalis IV. It's called the Art of War and significantly alters the main game. This latest dev diary gets all diplomatic.

We'll now be able to declare war on a nation in support of rebels, or even our vassal's casus bellis, and losers in a conflict can now be made to pay war reparations throughout the truce.

Ready your horses, arrows and catapults as Firefly Studios has unleashed a hellfire of religious strife in the Middle East again with Stronghold Crusader 2. The year is 1189 - there's lots of desert, camels and castles.

This is the studio's "first ever independently developed and funded" Stronghold title, and there's plenty of content updates, DLC and patches waiting to join the fray in the coming months.

A real-time strategy game in space is now available as Paradox Interactive and developer Creative Forge unleashed Ancient Space upon our keyboards and mice.

It's a story-driven RTS with "deep strategic gameplay" and some notable sci-fi actors from film and TV, like him from Star Trek and her also from Star Trek. Mac release is coming soon.

The Blitzkrieg strategy series is gearing up for more real-time war as developer Nival announce Blitzkrieg 3, which is due out for PC and Mac in 2015. It shuns politics and ideology for just plain war.

The USSR, the Axis and the Allies each have their own classic single-player campaigns, where we take the role of commanders in an "interactive story" which can blend in multiplayer.

SteamWorld Dig's creator Image & Form have just announced what's next in the SteamWorld universe. Originally on Nintendo 3DS, the series is arriving straight away on PC with SteamWorld Heist.

They swap platforming for turn-based 2D combat as we put together a team of 'ragtag robots' as crew for our steam-driven spaceships. We'll be heisting rivals for loot.

For those who own Creative Assembly's Total War: ROME II you might have noticed it's got a lot more Emperor in its diet. Today marks the launch of the Emperor Edition, which overhauls some key things.

The political system has been reworked with building chains overhauled, and an extensive campaign rebalancing. Armenia joins the playable factions in the Grand Campaign.

The space 4X Lords of The Black Sun from developer Arkavi Studios and publisher Iceberg Interactive is finally ready to conquer the great expanse over our heads as it leaves Early Access on Steam.

Formerly known as Star Lords, this space 4X has 8 races with tactical turn-based combat, and promises espionage, intel and diplomacy with a complex AI. Tech trees are randomised.

Scottish developer Blazing Griffin has announced Distant Star: Revenant Fleet, a new space real-time strategy coming to PC. They plan for Early Access sometime later this year with a beta launch.

This new RTS builds off the iOS Distant Star: Classic, with fleet-based combat, dynamically generated galaxies and an 'evolving narrative' with Revenant Fleet.

4X fantasy strategy Worlds of Magic from Wastelands Interactive is today coming to Steam Early Access. It's a spiritual successor to the classic Master of Magic and it raised over $34k on Kickstarter.

We'll create our own Sorcerer Lord to rule an empire with over 400 spells to fling, and over 40 disciplines to choose from. We have seven planes of existence to civilise.

Today the micro-DLC Bannermen is released for free by Longbow Games for Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar. This new content adds some cosmetic touches to veteran units on the battlefield.

It includes "four fully-animated units" with the Roman Aquilifer and the Gallic Hornblower among them. They integrate into veteran units for a small morale boost. It's a 'thank you' from the devs.

Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II - Chaos Rising is now without Microsoft's Games For Windows Live code as the latest PC patch has replaced it with Relic's own 'Battle Servers' for multiplayer.

Leaderboards for Dawn of War II and Chaos Rising are also now separate from each other. These patch has removed three features, such as pausing during an online game.
