There's a very spooky time to be had for Team Fortress 2 players this year as Valve gear up for Halloween. Valve are unleashing zombies in a new Mann vs. Machine mission.
They're also making us go against the ghost of a magician in a new King of the Hill challenge as we deal with the fallout of the Soldier's folly in angering the mighty Merasmus.

Valve announces that the Steam Workshop launched this time last year, meaning the community content swap meet is a year old. It began life with Team Fortress 2, adding Skyrim a few months later.
Today over 10k "items, mods, quests," and new worlds are hosted for Bethesda's Skyrim. Then came Portal 2, DOTA 2, Civilization V, Total War: Shogun 2 and a bunch of indie games.

Valve petitions Team Fortress 2 fans to submit Halloween-themed creations

Team Fortress 2 is due the Scream Fortress update and Valve beseech the community to come up with their best Halloween-themed accessories and cram them in the Steam Workshop.
All items must be received by October 1st if they've a chance at being included. If you can't create something then vote your gaming heart out so the best can rise above the rabble.
