Terraformers is the first 3D game for both seeing and sight disabled gamers. The game is set in the year 2440. Because of pollution and climatic changes the earth has become inhabitable for humans. To survive mankind has started colonisation of other planets with the help of intelligent robots to create an atmosphere suitable for human life. However, on the distant planet Tellus 2 something goes wrong. An SOS signal is received on the nearest space station and a special unit is sent to investigate. You are one of it's selected crew members... In Terraformers you (the gamer) are equipped with a sound interface enabling blind gamers to move and navigate in the 3D game world. All sound interfaces are transparent to the game design to be a natural part of the game. You can toggle most of the sounds on or off.
