===================================================================
Minimum Requirements

2) Oblivion patch v1.1.511 or higher

3) Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE) v0013 or higher

Mod Description
===================================================================

Streamline is first and foremost an "intelligent performance
enhancement" mod. It helps eliminate loading lag, and smooths
and increases display performance (FPS).

It also has many other great features, like an automated rotating
savegame system, custom field-of-view, a buggy-corpse killer, etc.

A full list of major and minor mod features follows:

- Streampurge: An intelligent memory purging system, designed
to reduce or eliminate stutter in Oblivion due
to a cluttered Oblivion texture/data cache.

- Streamsmooth: A display (FPS) smoother, designed to adjust
details realtime in order to keep visual
performance at or above an acceptible level.

- Streamsight: A system that can drastically increase display
(FPS) speeds, for a slight reduction in distant
terrain details. It includes highly realistic
atmospheric fog to mask distant details as they
are reduced, and which cooperates intelligently
with all kinds of weather.

- Streamsave: An automatic savegame system that can completely
replace Oblivion's autosaves and quicksaves.
It is highly customizable and will not interfere
with standard savegame operation.

- Streamview: A system that allows a change to the game's
Field-of-View (FOV), for first-person play on
wider or narrower screens.

- (other) An automatic (and hotkey) corpse-killer that
can drop bugged actors in the "jesus pose" to
the ground.

- (other) A subfeature of Streamsight that will unstick
weather patterns (or climates) that have become
stuck for whatever reason.

- (other) User controllable underwater fog, as a built-in
part of Streamsight. Custom fog distances can
be used underwater as a result.

- (other) When nearby combat occurs, a subfeature of
Streamsmooth can automatically ensure that
display speeds (FPS) are raised slightly to
give smoother combat scenarios.

- And lots more!

Default Hotkeys
===================================================================

- Streamline Main Menu: CTRL-home
- Perform cache purge: CTRL-del
- Perform Streamsave: F10
- Set max vLOD (detail): CTRL-]
- Set min vLOD (detail): CTRL-[
- Set auto vLOD (detail): CTRL-backspace
- Fine-tune vLOD up: CTRL-.
- Fine-tune vLOD down: CTRL-,
- Toggle Streampurge: ALT-p
- Toggle Streamsmooth: ALT-f
- Toggle music (delayed): CTRL-m (experimental)
- Fast-Quit: (default is off, suggest CTRL-F12)
- Force Kill Corpses: CTRL-insert

We recommend remapping the default Oblivion Quicksave key
to F10 (via Oblivion's Options menu), and setting the Streamsave
"Perform Save" key to F5. That way when you hit F5 (which you
may be accustomed to), the save that is made is part of your
Streamsave rotating savegame list.

It is perfectly safe to enable the Fast-Quit hotkey if you have
enabled "save before fast-quit", as a save is made immediately
before the quit is processed.

===================================================================
Compatibility
===================================================================

Streamline in general has very few possible conflicts with other
mods. However you should not attempt to run this at the same time
as a cache clearing or FPS-altering mod like HTF's PCB mod, or the
Nearly-Perfect-Frame-Rate-Optimizer. Doing so may cause stutter
or crashes.

If you run a scripted weather mod, you should disable
"SLv.WeatherUnsticker" in the sl.ini file and re-init the mod
via the in-game Special Actions menu for compatibility.

===================================================================
Troubleshooting
===================================================================

If you think the mod isn't running as it should be, you can
enable feedback (debug) messages that appear in the console. You
need to copy the correct Esp from SL 3.1 into the \Data folder for
these messages to show up - a copy is distributed in the package
under the "\Streamline\ESPs\Debug ESP" folder. You also need to
make sure the Debug feature is turned on via the Streamline menu
in the "Main > Settings > Miscellaneous" area.

To view the messages, you need to open the console (` key), type
in "tdt" (without quotes), hit enter, then close the console with
the ` key again.

Messages will be displayed in the lower left corner as Streamline
runs. If you ask for assistance on the official forums, be
prepared to answer with a password that indicates you have
actually read this readme - which is your forum name spelled
backwards.

The Standard value for turning on debug messages is 1, but there
is an additional level "2" for highly detailed debug output. It
can either be set to 2 in the sl.ini (before initializing SL), or
directly through the console with "set SLdebug to 2". Be aware
that use of this variable setting can adversely and significantly
impact game performance while set.
