i tried downloading quite a few mods from here and they all dont seem to work and when i started my game i accessed my console and typed in psb for all the spells and it stated that i aquired 6 new spells and yet i cant find them at all and it seems that all of the other mods do not work on my game so if someone could let me in on some info it would be very much greatly appreciated.

where do i found the sword

When I download this mod, it downloads as a .7z file, and when I click on it at the location where I downloaded it at, it says "Cannot find this file." There is no Read Me file to help me install it correctly, or it don't come in a .esp file like it said it should under the description. Please help me! im having the same problem. i can download the file but it comes as a .7z instead of a .esp, not to mention theres no readme with it. if yu can help me out just leave me a private message on my profile on here.

Great mod sword is powerful & very useful

WHY do you people not just put it into an Omod format with Oblivion Mod Manager? It's easy. Just go into MM, (mod manager) press create Omod, import archive, and choose the file you downloaded. (Note... Press the little checkbox that says data files at the bottom, (this should show you the following) and make sure that files with "textures/" and "meshes/" are there. Well, there you have it.

For the ones with problems in extracting ... just right-click (note:you must have 7-zip file manager in your PC ) and select extract here .

Just adding a little bit to carcass comment for thoose who are a little knew to this (as their appearently are if you consider the problems...)

.7z is a compressed format, smaller than .rar, and that is why they have choosen this format for download files - the file will be quick to download... If you google .7z you will find out where to download a program that can extract the file format. For example 7-zip manager as mentioned earlier...

If you haven't extracted the file to Oblivion\Data already then you'll have to take the extracted files, copy or cut them out, and place them in the Data folder. Then start oblivion. Before pressing play, note the "data files" button just below. Press it, and check the box for you mod. Now enjoy!

to help with the download problem check to see if there is a newer version of the WINrar or other pprogram you are using

the installation is vary easy just extract the file with 7z or with win rar and copy the files and paste it into your oblivion data (example:C:/program files/Bethesda Softworks/oblivion/data) then open the oblivion launcher in data files and chaos New_Frostmourne_Sword_by_Jojjo_v10 then play.

OKOBLIVION, IAYDEN, AUST and AXERY, here is the solution to ur problem. I have this great program called ZIP-GENIUS. it can extract any type of file. it's extremely useful for extracting stuff to your oblivion data folder. just google it and download it. then when u get a new mod KEEP IT IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM! Just right click on it and go to the zip-genius picture and click EXTRACT TO, then click on the oblivion/data folder once and click OK, then check the box and Play! PS. sometimes zip-genius extracts the file but it ends up being a folder in the data folder and has the esp. and all the other stuff in it. if that happens drag that folder on to the oblivion data and when it asks u to overwrite say yes!

every mod i download comes up as a big yellow triangle with a blue exclaimation mark in it on it lol .... what am i doing wrong ... can any1 help plz
