When I first saw this game, I thought : "Wow ! Here is my chance to actually make a movie, without all of that excessive drama, or bad jokes, or things like the only nation who can save the world in times on need is... The United ...", because I'm sick of that,and at least in a game I could make a movie without all of that.
And my adventure began...
I began researching all the needed technology to actually make my own script, because it must be said that in the beginning of the game you only get to work with pre-made scripts, and after some time spend with researching you can "take" the game in to your own hands.
After my first own movie was released I understood something : it's a game based on actual reality. Why ? Because it's not the script or the story that matters, it's the popularity of your studio,actors and so on that counts.
It is a nice try because the producers payed some attention to actors moods,and they brought the reality factor like the rehab clinic for actors over stressed.
I completely understand that movies had to be classified by something, that the only way in this game was reputation and technology, but I just wanted more from a movie simulator.
Overall the graphics are good,as good that they can be in a Sim, but this game lacks some major things like : the player doesn't get caught in the story (simply because the game hasn't got one), you can't see what the competitors are doing ( I bet that the result are simply generated on a pre-made script), and of course at the end it just a race which you could won, but the journey to the finish it's not worth your time.
In the end of my review, I give an "8.4". It not such a bad game, but it isn't what I've wanted from it. You can have some good time with it, but it not really close to reality. It's JUST a try...
