First off, Mars Wars is not the most original modification.
We took our inspiration from the game Red Faction, because
it's a fantastic multiplayer game!

Mars Wars is not just a rip-off version of Red Faction.
We have evolved and advanced it with the possibilities of the
extremly powerful Unreal Engine© which is the heart of the game
Unreal Tournament 2004!

Mars Wars is a game with a very solid gameplay, arcade and action oriented with
futuristic weapons, which are pure fun in online, as well as offline matches.
Bots are fully supported in Mars Wars!
The models and animations were made from scratch, they have more detail
and were done in hi-quality for best results in look and feel.

Mars Wars supports 7 gametypes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch,
Capture The Flag, Vehicle Capture The Flag and now with MW2.0
you can play Rail Arena, Invasion and Vehicle Invasion.
Mars Wars comes with many new vehicles, and can even be used in online matches!
( this is somewhat new for some of the Red Faction fans )
These different gametypes can be played in 42 new well designed maps.
Some of them are remakes from Red Faction, and they are famous for their
great layouts and gameplay!

In most maps it is possible to even destroy parts of the enviroment! This is not just
for fun, it also adds strategic elements to the game...and well, it just looks so good. ;-)
