| Subterranean Games' Dungeon Keeper-styled War for the Overworld has finally achieved release of its Bedrock Beta for Kickstarter backers and for those who pre-order. The beta is a Steam-only launch. The full game will also be releasing outside Steam with no DRM, but the beta uses Steamworks because it's "a far better environment" to test the game in. Bedrock Beta includes a sandbox map. |

| Backers of War for the Overworld have been told some unpleasant news, again, as the planned Bedrock Beta gets another delay as the team find themselves tackling some 'memory issues'. This has caused "core features to be delayed" which are crucial for the beta. It also means the final release version will be running late too, but "an additional mini campaign" is being work on. Final release was due August 30th. |
