Quick glimpse of Wasteland 2 in action, alpha footage teased
InXile Entertainment's Wasteland 2 is plodding along at the studio and recently Brian Fargo showed a little of the actual game whilst at Unite 2012 during his 'Power of the Crowd' keynote.
The clip is a mere 1 minute 3 seconds long but shows restless party members, a giant stompy scorpion and zooming interface for a close up, or for an 'old school' top down view.

Brian Fargo of InXile Entertainment has said his studio is "kicking ass" on Wasteland 2's development thanks to the generosity of Kickstarter and by adopting the Unity game engine.
They've been plugging away on the project for 100 days "with no distractions from any kind of corporate overlord," said Fargo. Design pages are in the hundreds - basic UI "up-and-running".

Brian Fargo has announced that the original 1988 classic RPG Wasteland will be bundled with Wasteland 2, which was funded by fans via Kickstarter to the tune of almost $3M.

Electronic Arts has announced that it will start inviting funded Kickstarter projects to their digital distribution service Origin. The first game that will be on the service is Brian Fargo's Wasteland 2. Fargo stresses that it will not be an Origin exclusive, however.

Wasteland 2 developer InExile's founder Brian Fargo has announced in a tweet that the game will be running on the Unity engine, which chiefly has been used for playing games in a web browser. The engine has been used for such browser-based titles as Tiger Woods PGA TOUR Online, MechWarrior Tactics and Battlestar Galactica Online.
