World War II Combat: Road to Berlin, review by Uber-Pig

Fun title. This game is not as bad as it is made out to be. For the price, it's really quite an enjoyable title. Despite what the reviews claim, I have had no issue in the slighest in aiming, the videos on gamestop make it look near impossible, which I find very dishonest, and dishonest on purpose as well, which makes me question the crediability of that review. Anyway, the game graphically looks pretty good. Not COD2 or F.E.A.R or something but good. The weapons are decently modeled, and the German soldiers actually pack a nice amount of detail of their uniforms. The U.S charecter model is just a generic guy in some camo, and the Russians are re-texured Germans, which always bothered me. The Jagdtiger, Focke-Wolfe and SD KFZ 251C Halftrack are all very well done. Enviroments as a whole look pretty good, and are well designed.
There are some annoying elements in the game, such as the damage direction indicator not working properly, its not a huge deal, but bothersome none the less, and theres some elements of the game that make little sense, first mission is during the Battle of Berlin, yet I and fight in France at a later mission? Very nonsensical. The fact that there is no health packs in the game can also make for some frustrating situations, it also feels like it holds back the developrs in terms of epic battles, and mission length. The game features a strong multiplayer component, with a variety of game types and well designed maps. Its really quite enjoyable, and the bots actually work very well. Road to Berlin will not blow you away. However, as I said above, this is not CoD, MoH, or BIA. It's a budget title, and really I had a very good time playing it.
