This mod from the X1 Team converts an entire X3 The Reunion game installation into a battle arena focused in the era between X: Beyond the frontier and X2: The threat.

I would like to get the feel of the basics, what i mean by that; no jump drive, make the ships slower (to make them feel old and make space feel big). There is going to be a reduction of sectors than x3. but no jump drive and slower ships is going to make the universe feel bigger. with the less sectors, this means we can get a higher fps and get more graphics into the game and make the universe feel more busy.

Don't you miss (if you played XBTF) the terrifying xenon, not the weak khaak, although there isn't going to be many xenon sectors as kyle wiped them out. the xenon destroyers will be fast like on the old game, on the old game you used to have to dodge the xenon cruisers flying at you. you could probably only get a few shots on them, unless you are rich so you could afford the engine tunings.

Although xbtf was/is harder than x3 or x2, i don't think we will get that level of difficulty. but we will try

In the 0.1 mod, you are thrown into a overwhelming battle. Its not impossible but can be beaten. This mod is not designed to be played on 24/7 as it is basically one sector. This mod is designed to show off the models, graphics, game play that is to come in X1: The Pirates 0.2.

2.Download X Plugin Manager from: Xpluginmanager.co.uk
3.Install the plugin manager
4.Once installed and set up install the x1 mod (Onto a CLEAN x3 the reunion installation, this mod is not compatible with other mods. One idea maybe to install a separate x3 the reunion for this mod.
