Gamescom is looking mighty fine right now for a major reveal of something XCOM related as the Steam database has just added thirty new achievement entries to XCOM: Enemy Unknown. All are without title or description.

Unless your able to decipher the meaning behind 'Achievement_74' and so on, it seems we'll have to bide our time skulking in our undisclosed XCOM base locations beneath the surface.

Keen eyes have uncovered the conspiracy of something called 'XCOM: Enemy Within' that was hidden within the Steam database, and even listed via the South Korean ratings board.

Naturally everyone is puzzled as to what it could be. Is it DLC? An expansion? A sequel? A spin-off? Well whatever it is, 2K has said they're "looking forward" to August 21st.

Looks like there's a followup to XCOM: Enemy Unknown, as the title "XCOM: Enemy Within" has appeared both on the Steam database and the South Korean classification board. The latter lists PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions.

Project lead Brad Muir and designer John Swisshelm from Double Fine have released an hour long Skype call they had with XCOM: Enemy Unknown's Jake Soloman, discussing the return of turn-based strategy.

It's a pre-production exchange of platitudes, ideas and cussing. With turn-based tactical strategy getting popular again, will the future be plagued by 'turn-based bros'? If so, blame/thank Soloman.

Take 2 enjoys $1.2B revenue for fiscal year 2013

Take 2 has announced that the publisher earned $1.222B for the fiscal year 2013 ending on the 31st March, crediting such titles as BioShock Infinite, MLB 2K13, and Borderlands 2 downloadable content as the chief source, while older titles also drove sales.
