FIFA 13 moves 7.4M units
EA Sports has announced that FIFA 13 has sold 7.4 million units in its first month of release. This was revealed during EA's quarterly financial report. Fellow sports game Madden NFL 13 was its second best selling game.

September's U.S. retail video game sales have been revealed by the NPD. According to the firm, sales have declined 24% year-over-year. Console sales took the biggest hit, down 39% compared to September 2011.

EA Sports has announced that their premiere footie title, FIFA 13, has sold over 4.5M units worldwide in over 40 countries across all platforms in just 5 days. The sold 1.23M units in its first two days of release in the UK alone.

FIFA 13 eased its way to the UK number one spot this week. It also became the first non-Call of Duty branded game to sell one million copies in its first week.
