Game Description

At the far edge of the galaxy on the desert planet Rosa, a young man named Jaster dreams of journeying through space. In a sudden twist of fate, he is recruited to join the crew of space pirate Dorgengoa on a mission to find a planet that holds the key to the greatest of treasures: eternal life.

But the Daytron Corporation is also searching for the planet… Jaster and his shipmates must let nothing stand in their way as they race across the cosmos to find the pieces of a portal that will allow them to stake their claim to the treasure…

Features:

Epic 3D Gameplay – More than 100 hours of gameplay and five massive worlds to explore, each with highly detailed environments and unique, cel-shaded graphics.

Multiple Playable Characters – Eight playable characters, with up to three controllable on-screen at the same time.

True action-RPG – Real-time combat system provides the opportunity to customise attacks and switch between characters during battle.
o Unique ‘Battle Suggestion’ system allows computer-controlled allies to recommend specific actions during combat and allows players to issue commands to teammates.
o Utilise close and long-range weapons, team combo attacks and special attacks unique to each character.

Build Special Weapons and Items – Combine different weapons to create more than 500 new weapons. Players can also manufacture specialised items by locating ‘schematics’ throughout the galaxy.

Mini-Games and Side Quests – In addition to solving the mysteries of the epic story, Rogue Galaxy features a number of mini-games and quests, including:
o Insectron Tournament – Capture, train, and stage battles using ‘Insectron bugs’ found throughout the various worlds. Over 120 can be collected, with players earning prizes by advancing through tournaments.
o Rare Item Hunt – Search the galaxy for clues to track down rare items. Locating all items rewards players with special prizes.
o Galactic Seven-Star Swords – Collect evidence to discover the whereabouts of the legendary Seven-Star Swords – the most powerful weapons in existence.
o Challenge Battles – Add a further element of difficulty by completing battles under certain conditions. Earning ‘hunter coins’, helps to upgrade a player’s hunter licence and opens up additional challenges within the game.

High Quality Movies – More than eight hours of cinematic sequences help to drive the action-packed storyline, and numerous plot twists will keep players guessing right to the very end.
