The Angry Birds movie already has some respected talent backing it, including Despicable Me producer John Cohen and Iron Man producer and former Marvel Studios chairman David Maisel, and now it has added Emmy Award-winning comedy writer Jon Vitti.

Sony and Rovio have announced that the film version of the ubiquitous casual game Angry Birds will be arriving in theaters over three years from now, the 1st July 2016.

Sony has revealed this week's PlayStation Network content for European gamers, including some of the PSN Plus deals. Notably, PSN Plus Euro gamers can get Mass Effect 3 free, along with Mass Effect 2 for 10% off, presumably to celebrate the release of the Citadel DLC.

Those Angry Birds won't stop, as Angry Birds Trilogy has sold more than 1 million units across the console platform. The bundle includes Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio as well as some extra levels, and was sold on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo 3DS.

Rovio has announced that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of Angry Birds Trilogy will be getting new downloadable content today, called the Anger Management Pack. The DLC costs 400 Microsoft Points ($4.99 USD).
