Sega has announced that everyone's favorite sassy witch, Bayonetta, will be available on PlayStation Network for the budget price of $19.99/£11.99/€14.99/AU$23.95.

Bayonetta's Hideki Kamiya from Platinum Games has said how big teams working a project don't mean things will turn out great. He cited the big number of devs on Capcom's Devil May Cry 4.

"Didn't help them, did it?" said Kamiya-san. The Platinum co-founder previously worked at Capcom on some of their big franchises like Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe.

Platinum Games director Atsushi Inaba stated in an interview with Edge magazine that he regretted the poor port of the third person action title Bayonetta on the PlayStation 3. While the Xbox 360 version earned a rare 40/40 from famed magazine Famitsu, the PS3 version was derided as buggy and sloppy.

Rumours are abound that amidst SEGA's restructuring, Platinum Games' Bayonetta 2 has been declared a casualty and left to rot. Lead designer Hideki Kamiya got tired of questions.

"I have had it," he twittered. "I'm not Sega man. Ask Sega." Fortunately for fans, producer Atsushi Inaba decided on a more tongue-in-cheek response by tweeting a mock concept artwork.

The sequel to Platinum Games' wild beat'em up Bayonetta was in development - as far back as August 2011, creator Hideki Kamiya promised "information" about it - but it seems that Sega's internal restructuring as doomed the game.
