Warner Bros. has announced that Mortal Kombat X will be cracking spines early next year in mid-April. A pre-order pummelling is in order with series star Goro returning after an 8-year absence.

NetherRealm Studios is bringing Mortal Kombat X to the next-gen beasts as well as PC, and the now old guard consoles. Fans will be treated to multiple variations of characters.

No not Abe's Oddysee - Abyss Odyssey - and ACE Team have released another 'know your enemy' video this time for Bauta. This is their second video in the series introducing characters for the brawler.

The entire footage was produced by a lead tester for ATLUS. Abyss Odyssey is a new multiplayer 2D side-scrolling brawler. Our enemies' souls can be captured so we can play as them.

Street Fighter executive producer Yoshinori Ono has announced that Capcom is on the lookout for a games designer and programmer for a "New Fighting Game" at their Tokyo or Osaka Studio in Japan.

The studio behind the new project is "making preparation for development in just now." A fan asked whether it would be coming to next-gen but Ono-san 'couldn't speak'.

The downloadable content that was promised for Saints Row the Third, Enter the Dominatrix, will be coming out for Saints Row 4 on the 22nd October. The DLC had been originally intended as a bridge between the third and fourth Saints Row games.

Aksys Games has announced that BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, which will be released in three weeks in Japan on the PlayStation 3, will be getting a Western launch in Spring 2014. The game will also have a Limited Edition featuring a 40-page art book, official soundtrack CD, small figurine of Rachel Alucard (“nendroid”), and an unannounced fourth item.

Warner Bros. Interactive have announced Injustice: Gods Among Us is due for release on PC, PS4 Vita, Xbox 360 and PS3 in the guise of an Ultimate Edition. Until now it had just been for current-gen consoles.

Injustice: Gods Among Us won't be heading to Xbox One however. The PS4 port is being led by High Voltage and includes specific enhancements. They had me at 'PC'.

UIG Entertainment announces a game to Kick Ass 2 will be releasing for PC and consoles this November, based upon the summer blockbuster. It's sporting "classic beat-em-up gameplay" in cel-shaded art.

Kick Ass and Hit Girl are both playable characters as we take our vigilante fight to The Motherf***er and his minions. We also get an "innovative XP system" just life real superheroes!

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that Zatanna will be the next downloadable content pack for the DC Comics licensed fighter Injustice: Gods Among Us. Zatanna will cast her magic on Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network on the 13th August for 400 Microsoft Points ($4.99 USD).

Tekken X Street Fighter has had quite a troubled history. The game was announced in 2010, and first promised to be launched within two years, then a few months later it was revealed that there had been "zero" development on it. Then this past March, Namco-Bandai revealed they "changed strategy" on it.

Sony Santa Monica's attempt at recreating the success of Super Smash Bros., PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, won't be getting any new downloadable content, and the developer is restating that the DLC that was released couldn't have been released with the main game.
