This week's North American PSN Update features Popcap and The Walking Dead
This week's slate of PlayStation Network games features Popcap titles that are finally hitting the PlayStation 3, as well as Telltale Games' licensed adventure game, The Walking Dead. Players will also be able to buy Battlefield 3 digitally, and also check out demos for Dragon's Dogma and Ninja Gaiden 3. This week's release also features the major UEFA Euro 2012 add-on to FIFA 12.

Popcap has announced that Bejeweled 3 will finally be arriving on the PlayStation Network today, the 24th April. The game first appeared on the PC in December 2010, while the Xbox Live Arcade version launched in October 2011.
The PS3 version will include the standard features of the previous editions: eight gameplay modes, 12 Trophies, and 20 badges. PopCap didn't announce the price; the XBLA version cost 1200 Microsoft Points ($15 USD).

Publisher EA is said to be in the late stages of acquisition talks with casual game royalty, PopCap Games. The purchase is notably worth over $1 billion.
If true then that's about 13 percent of EA's market cap and yet another step in securing the casual and social game arena, especially for mobile platforms.

Popcap has announced that its mega-popular match 3 game, Bejeweled 3, will be hitting Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
