I gotta admit, when I first started playing Bioshock 2, I felt like I was back home.Even though it's one screwed up city, Rapture has always been a pretty unique game world. For the first couple of levels everything felt pretty normal. But unfortunitly, about halfway through the game, it started to get painful to play. The levels are mixed up nicely, but the gameplay never seems to change. The only thing the game does to change the gameplay is by throwing more and more enemies at you. I almost didn't want to finish it because of the repetition. But then near the end it really started to pick up the pace again. Especially a certain level that involves one of the Little Sisters.
But one thing that really annoyed me was the hacking, and how often you have to pick up junk like ammo and health, which you can get either from dead bodies or a vending machine. You can also get those supplies cheaper (and sometimes free stuff) if you hack into those machines. Only problem is, it felt like I was spending more time hacking than shooting!
If 2K makes another Bioshock, I hope they keep the hacking bits out of it!
