Developer Splash Damage is promising to fix the severe lag Brink has suffered since launch, claiming that a forthcoming patch will "improve network performance."

Splash Damage's team objective shooter Brink has managed to beat the hordes of LEGO and Pirates of the Caribbean fans to nab the UK all formats top spot.
The new LEGO game at least entered 2nd, pushing Zumba Fitness 3rd. Portal 2 slips 4th and Mortal Kombat 6th. MX Vs ATV Alive has entered the chart 10th.

Even though the PlayStation Network is up in most regions, Splash Damage founder Paul Wedgewood stated that the outage seriously affected Brink.
Brink getting free DLC, patch

Bethesda has announced that there will be some free DLC coming to Brink this June, and a new patch will improve online gameplay for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gamers.
