Furious 4 drops Brothers in Arms tie in
One of the most bizarre decisions by Gearbox was the transformation of Brothers in Arms into an action title which seemed to be inspired by Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds with Brothers in Arms: Furious Four.
The developer has removed the tie-in title to the game, which is now simply "Furious Four".

Gearbox has confirmed it is turning Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 into a brand new IP.

Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford has reassured fans of the Brothers in Arms series that Furious 4 is "going great" and it has "evolved" since last the studio spoke of it and continues to evolve.
The team need to "make further changes" before they will showcase all this evolution. Pitchford says he's "looking forward" to dishing on the details "soon." Furious 4 debut during E3 2011.
