Upcoming action game Castlevania: Lords of Shadow from Konami will be in US retailers this October 5th, with the UK getting it on the 8th.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow's Mercury Steam says that Microsoft is going to "experience more and more" studios having disc storage issues.
It's a single Blu-ray disc for PS3 but 2 DVDs for Xbox 360. Each console "has its own issues" notes Mercury, but you "have to work around them."

MercurySteam and Kojima Productions' Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has been given its official release window of the spooky October month.
A specific day hasn't been revealed by Konami yet. Box art for the action adventure game also surfaces, meaning it hasn't all just been a dream.

Publisher Sega is to skip gamescom this year with German fansite SegaStuff citing it as a "commercial decision" for 2010, so 2011 should be okay?
Only Konami so far has confirmed their line-up for the Cologne, Germany event this August. Sega has Sonic 4 and Shogun 2: Total War in the works.
