A limited edition bundle for Crytek’s Crysis 2 was spotted in the retail wild, but images of the gear soon disappeared. The price was EUR 158.
This 'Nano-Edition' had a nano-suit backpack, a 20cm Prophet statue, a 176-page art book, a steel game case and exclusive online goodies.

Well publisher EA sure put on quite a line-up for this year's E3, naming and unveiling some juicy morsels. Perhaps the biggest hitter was Criterion.
There was Crysis 2, Bulletstorm, EA Sports Active 2.0 and a new MMA, a Vietnam expansion for Bad Company 2, Dead Space 2... yeah lots of '2'.

Crytek has revealed that Crysis 2 will be playable in full 3D for both single and multiplayer modes.
Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli spoke to USA today about the 3D version of Crysis 2: "The success of 3D movies like Avatar and the introduction of 3D TVs from the hardware manufacturers tells us that this is the next big movement in entertainment, much like HD was years ago,"

EA slaps Crytek's Crysis 2 with an autumn date which means it retails during the busy Q3/4 period. There's also a multiplayer beta in the works.
No exact details have escaped Crytek yet on the beta but fans that sign up to the relaunched MyCrysis service will get a heads up from the studio.
