No surprises this week in the UK games chart. Crysis 3 once again controls the top 10 with its second week in the number one spot. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance drops from second to third, while Aliens: Colonial Marines loses two places on last week's position.

A Crysis 2 modder has, after a little experimentation, found out that Crysis 3 is experiencing some frame rate troubles all because of... ropes. Specifically, "moving ropes," because of the physics involved.
He recorded his FPS with 'rope physics' both on and off, finding that static rope saw frames hit their maximum, but moving ropes crippling the game by comparison. "Sounds weird, right?"

It was always going to be a close call. With Crysis 3 and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance coming out in the same week, it seems Crytek's shooter has just managed to fend off Platinum Games' slicing effort.

Well, the EU PlayStation Store will be updated with Crysis 3 as soon as Friday hurries and gets here. Still, the Capcom Arcade Cabinet is available now - for free. There's also Oddworld: Stranger Boxx.
