The official bio page for writer Joshua Rubin has posted on his resume that he is "the sole writer for a Major Unannounced Sequel from Visceral Studios at EA Games."
Rubin has written two games for Electronic Arts: Dante's Inferno and the Dead Space games. Rubin then added a rather obvious "hint".

A staffer in the Melbourne branch of Visceral Games claim that the branch will be closed on Monday. According to the source, the Melbourne office had been working on a major Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game for the last three years, which has been recently canceled.

Sony America SVP of Publisher Relations, Rob Dyer, admits that while Microsoft enjoys a "massive lead on the hardware side," PS3 does better with software.

During its fiscal investor call, EA revealed they've always got two or three new IPs being worked on so they don't need to rely on non-stop sequels.
They teased more is likely to be known about them at E3 this year. Recent examples of new IP include Dead Space, Dante's Inferno, and Dragon Age.

Dead Space developer Visceral Games has just gotten a huge investment from EA as they align their third-person action slate under the Visceral label.
