Dead Rising 2 developer Capcom Vancouver has announced in its twitter feed that the studio has cut 7% of its workforce today. The developer, however, added, "We’re still growing and aggressively seeking great talent."

Why are Capcom's PC releases usually later out the door than on consoles? Because the console code gets finished first, and then the work on PC begins. This won't change.

Unless they 'sit' on the console code until PC is ready, which they "can't do from a business planning perspective," it will continue as it is. They do try to keep the gap "as small as possible".

This week on the US PlayStation Store update is full of blood sucking thanks to the arrival of Sucker Punch's standalone title, inFamous: Festival of Blood.

Also fresh out the games bakery is PixelJunk SideScroller from Q Games. There's a Resistance 3 single player demo, and GT5's DLC is finally out.

Next week will see the first piece of DLC for Capcom's Dead Rising 2: Off The Record, and Frank West will be going cyborg with electric attacks standard.

When applied to Frank, all his melee damage increases and all electrical based attacks get a nice boost too. The Cyborg Skills Pack releases October 25th.

Forza Motorsport 4 unseats FIFA 12 in UK chart, PES 2012 fifth

Last week saw a handful of new releases but Xbox 360 racer Forza Motorsport 4 left the rest of the UK all format chart in the dust as it launched first place.

FIFA 12 came second with sales down 62% in its third week. Just Dance 3 entered 3rd, PES 2012 5th, and Beenox's Spider-Man: Edge of Time came 39th.
