Everything changed with the arrival of the Traveler. It sparked a Golden Age when our civilization spanned out solar system, but it didn’t last. Something hit us, knocked us down. The survivors built a city beneath the Traveler, and have begun to explore our old worlds, only to find them filled with deadly foes.

| If you played co-op in Halo it didn't feel like much of a joint effort during cut scenes, as your team mate got shoved to the sideline. Bungie are approaching it differently with Destiny, as your heroics carry over. The studio also wants to present players a lot more choice, small and big. Destiny's world is to continue evolving much like a typical MMO's world would, but they're still figuring it out. |

| Bungie showed off some new 3D character models for Destiny during their GDC panel titled "Brave New World". During the panel, gave attendees a glimpse into the art, development and design of the massively multiplayer shooter. |

| Bungie found itself with a tremendous amount of freedom after leaving the Halo franchise, and the studio investigated a ton of options ranging from pure fantasy to hard science fiction. In the end, they picked a blend of the two which would later become Destiny. |
