Start tuning up those augmentations because Eidos' Jean-Francois Dugas has said this week will herald an official release date for Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

A new trailer has been released for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which is more storyline-based, as it focuses on just who Adam Jensen, the protagonist, is and what kind of person he is, and how he gets involved with the mysterious Sarif Corporation.

Publisher Square Enix has reported a huge drop in sales and earnings for the nine months leading to December 31st. Profits fell sharply by 76.6 percent.
The good news is that Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days and Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 each managed over a million sales during those three quarters.

Eidos producer David Anfossi has dismissed the idea of Deus Ex: Human Revolution including 'adaptive difficulty' to how the player levels up.
They have "three difficulty settings" and that's all. He doesn't know who claimed they did but they were "either drunk" or didn't work at Eidos Montreal.

Developer Eidos Montreal has announced that it will take 25 hours or so to complete Deus Ex: Human Revolution - but that's not nearly enough to experience much of what the game has to offer.
