Initially developed as a parody of fighting games by Adam Heart, the Editor-in-Chief of Shoryuken.com, Divekick gained notoriety in the community for its surprising depth and lack of a control stick. Divekick’s two-button controls and precise timing soon made it a staple in competitions.
