Far Cry 3's Ubisoft Massive underway on "AAA Next-Gen Online RPG" project 
Swedish-based Ubisoft Massive is tinkering around on a next generation online RPG, according to game designer Marc Cartwright's LinkedIn profile. It's unclear if Massive is leading development or not.

Ubisoft is playing favourites as Far Cry 3 is due some more co-op shenanigans early next year as DLC pack 'High Tides' launches in January only on PlayStation 3, adding "truly the best of the best."

PC gamers who've got their desktop mitts on Far Cry 3 have been experiencing some dastardly trouble in getting to just play their game. The problem lies with Ubisoft's Uplay platform.
Server issues are plaguing the new PC sandbox, with both online and singleplayer directly affected. Fortunately Uplay can be set to work in an offline mode, so the campaign is playable.

This week is the debut of Ubisoft's Far Cry 3 and it's launching simultaneously for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Apparently the PC version is in need of some serious patch work for an 'optimal experience'.
Among the patch notes are stability and performance improvements, flickering water textures, UI glitches on certain resolutions and some other less serious tweaks. Here's to stable insanity.
