Final Fantasy XIII-2 gets its final DLC pack with Snow and Lightning

Square-Enix has released the final downloadable content packs for Final Fantasy XIII-2, highlighted by "Lightning's Story: Requiem of the Goddess," which the publisher advises to play after the entire campaign as been played.

The accounts look good for Square Enix thanks to 2011's Deus Ex: Human Revolution and this year's Final Fantasy XIII-2, which helped bring in a profit of ¥6 billion. Last year lost ¥12 billion.

The figures were "favourable" thanks to those two "major titles" in the Square Enix line-up. No specifc sales numbers have been divulged for either release, but Deus Ex has at least shipped 2m.

Requiem of the Goddess DLC coming to Final Fantasy XIII-2 in Taiwan

Square Enix has announced that a new batch of Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC will be coming to PlayStation Network in Taiwan, called the Requiem of the Goddess. The new DLC will focus on the character of Lightning and will cost $228 Taiwanese dollars (approx. $7.76 USD).

As expected, Square-Enix has announced new Coliseum opponents as downloadable content for Final Fantasy XIII-2, as well as an Ezio Auditore costume for Noel and a free outfit designed for Serah by Japaneseband AKB48's Yuko Oshima.

The DLC had been revealed for the Japanese version a week ago.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be getting some new downloadable content next week in Japan, which will likely make its way onto American and European shores later in the month.
