Nvidia: Grand Theft Auto V part of "strong roster of games coming this fall" for PC

During their recent financial report, Nvidia senior director of investor relations Chris Evenden stated that Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto V was part of a "strong roster of games coming this fall" heading for PC.

This statement was in remark to news that "speciality PCs like gaming systems" are on the rise, noting PC gamers were gearing up for Call of Duty: Ghosts, GTA 5 and Assassin's Creed 4.

Rockstar warn against 'out of region' GTA V copies and DLC codes

Rockstar Games has issued a warning to fans that, while Xbox 360 and PS3 copies of Grand Theft Auto V are almost universally region free, DLC codes are tied to regional XBL / PSN hubs for redemption.

So, your physical media might be without an arbitrary padlock but your digital goodies are another story. Shipping in a US copy might be cheaper, but pre-order codes aren't guaranteed to work.

Rockstar Games has announced that Thursday will mark the official unveiling of the separately named Grand Theft Auto Online, the multiplayer component of GTA V. Gameplay footage will be published.

Previews of the GTA multiplayer that's been kept tightly under wraps will also surface as Rockstar lift the press embargo. Grand Theft Auto V releases September 17th.

Web news! Take-Two are petitioning the World Intellectual Property Organisation to try and wrestle control of the GTAV.com domain, which is currently owned by a Spanish resident and is up for sale.

Presently the address redirects to Rockstar Games' GTA V feed, but was originally a fansite. Also the recently registered HungoverX by Take-Two isn't GTA related, but XCOM.

Australians will finally get to play an uncensored Grand Theft Auto game, as Grand Theft Auto V received the first mature R18+ rating in the series' history.
