Demo Derby returning to GRID 2 in Community Patch, "driven by your feedback"

Cringe worthy puns aside, the Community Patch that's been "driven by your feedback" is on its way to Codemasters' GRID 2. Fans will get the original's Demo Derby mode patched in for free.

They expect this brimming Community Patch to release sometime in August, and they've revealed a lot of its tweaks and features. They'll give us a firm date closer to the time.

GRID 2 receives Peak Performance Pack, adds six special edition cars

Codemasters has just released the Peak Performance Pack DLC for racer GRID 2, which adds six cars with unique paintworks, body modifications and engine tuning. Each are Tier 2 vehicles.

This latest add-on is priced at 400 MSP/£3.19 and is available now for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of GRID 2. The cars are for solo, multiplayer and split-screen.

Codemasters releases Drift Pack for Grid 2

Codemasters has announced that the Drift Pack, new downloadable content for GRID 2, is now available for the Xbox 360 (480 MS points), PlayStation 3 and PC (£3.99 / $5.99 / €4.99).

The Drift Pack includes four special edition cars available to race in GRID 2’s single player, split-screen and multiplayer modes. Each new vehicle has been piloted by icons of the sport and has been customised for optimum performance by some of the world’s leading Drift teams.

Four new cars with GRID 2's Super Modified Pack DLC

Codemasters has added four new cars to the GRID 2 garage with the release of the Super Modified Pack. It's out today and will lighten your wallet by 480 MSP / £3.99 / $5.99 / €4.99 on Xbox Live, PSN and Steam.

A new trailer to showcase the new additions has been published. Each of the new cars has been "modified to squeeze every last ounce" out of them. It'll land on PSN tomorrow.

The Last of Us retains UK chart lead, followed by Animal Crossing: New Leaf

For another week Naughty Dog's The Last of Us has kept itself atop the UK all format chart. Next up is Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Leaf, with FIFA 13 rising up to take 3rd. Tomb Raider was 4th.

Max Payne 3 suddenly appears again now that's its out for Mac. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 revives 6th, up from 14th. GRID 2 has fallen back 10th, having been replaced by FIFA 13.
