Sony announces new $300 PS3 "Legacy" bundle
Retailers have started selling a new PlayStation 3 bundle called the "Legacy Bundle" for $300. The bundle features a 500GB hard drive, Gran Turismo 5 XL, InFamous 2, and 30 days of PlayStation Plus.

Sony has announced that Vigil Games' original Darksiders is the latest title to be given freely to subscribers of PlayStation Plus. They pair that with 50% off PlayStation Vita's Stardrone Extreme.
The corporate giant also lets us know that inFamous 2 will be re-joining the collection of free games, as its removal "was an error" on their part. It will appear in this week's Instant Game Collection.

Four more PS3 games have become full downloadable titles with this week's US PlayStation Store update, as FIFA 13, Dead or Alive 5, Starhawk and Mirror's Edge join the digital catalogue.
Elsewhere PSN launches Tokyo Jungle, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins and a multiplayer only version of Starhawk. Both inFamous and Ratchet & Clank are now bundled in Collections.

It's a good week to be a PlayStation Plus subscriber as Sony are giving away 12 PS3 games for nothing in honour of E3 this week. Among them are InFamous 2 and Little Big Planet 2.
Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown is now on PSN, and PlayStation Move's Sorcery gets a demo. They're also running a limited time sale on early Sly Cooper titles.

Sony has announced the release of "Ultimate Editions" of several major PlayStation 3 titles, essentially full game downloads with all of the game's downloadable content included.
