Guillermo del Toro has Insane talks with "very, very big company"

Movie director Guillermo del Toro is very determined to get his Insane video game project on the move, which is why he's chatting with a "very, very big company." He can't name names yet though.

All he'll tell us is that it's "one of the big ones." The director also says he needs to 'update game mechanics' for Insane as other titles have since had them. It will have a "really immersive narrative".

Director Guillermo del Toro is "not giving up" on his Insane development plans despite publisher THQ dropping the project. He's making sure there's dialogue to get it moving again but with whom?

His 'dream team' for the job would be Valve, revealed del Toro. He's a big fan of the Half-Life creator, and even promises GLaDOS' Ellen McClain will be voicing the AI in his next film.

Remember those rumours of inSane getting canned? Remember Danny Bilson twittering it's not? Well Bilson accepts everytime he tweets it's "a press release." So he was super serious.

Director Guillermo del Toro called Bilson asking about the cancelllation rumours. "I said, it's not true!" recalled Bilson. What the Volition team is doing with inSane "is phenomenal." More info soon.
