The Last of Us "3rd fastest selling" title in UK chart for 2013 as it debuts 1st place
Right behind Tomb Raider and BioShock Infinite there skulks Naughty Dog's The Last of Us, becoming the "3rd fastest selling game of 2013" as it thoroughly owned last week's UK all format chart.
It has also seen the biggest launch for a new IP since L.A. Noire back in 2011. It was Nintendo's new entry Animal Cross: New Lead that came 2nd followed by GRID 2 and Tomb Raider.

Autosave bug infecting The Last of Us fixed

Sony's major infection game The Last of Us has been plagued by an autosave bug where the autosave would fail, wiping all progress as far back as the last manual save, which could be disastrous if the player died and had to reload.

One huge source of misery for Naughty Dog in their studio's history was scrapping their engine tech when the PlayStation 3 came along because they thought the leap demanded it, but it was a foolish move.
The Uncharted developer "learned our lesson" over that, and they will prove they have by bringing their current engine over to PS4 and adapting it - seeing where changes are needed as it 'hits the wall'.

Sony has announced the Season Pass for their game The Last of Us, which will encompass one single player story-based downloadable content and two multiplayer DLC packs.
