Japanese mag Famitsu has fresh juicy details of Square Enix's Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 project, with is said to be almost a third of the way complete. We're promised a 'happy ending'.
Lightning Returns is said to be "World Driven" whereas FFXIII was story driven and FFXIII-2 player driven. Lightning is on her own in battle, and is "considerably more refined" as a person.

Neither Final Fantasy XIII nor ingenue star Lightning will go away as Square Enix has announced an unprecedented second sequel to the RPG, though rather than call it "Final Fantasy XIII-3", they elected to dub it Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and promise it'll be the final chapter of that particular series.
